Broker's Comments

Being based in Cornwall we are pleased to list this Tamarisk 29 a Gaff Topsail Cutter which is understood to be based on the Falmouth Quay Punt and Falmouth Oyster Dredgers. This Tamarisk 29 has been with the same family for most of its life and is now reluctantly offered for sale.

The rig has been removed and placed in one of the sheds for storage.

This Tamarisk has been extensively refurbished during the last couple of years with the following being completed to-date and most of it done professionally:
2021- new starter motor, re-ballast fore compartmen,; reseal focsle floor, new bilge pump, new transponder and depth sounder, new radio, replaced fixing for starboard running backstay, mast refurbished, engine filter replaced.

2022-2023 - Outer bottom stripped, faired and new antifouling paint system applied professionally. Damaged bulkheads replaced and bilges repainted. Bobstay fitting replaced and sealed. Fuel tank inspection hatch renewed. All external teak refurbished with Deks olje no 1 - 5 coats and 2-3 coats no 2, cockpit refurbished and wood strips sanded/renewed. Rigging checked - running backstay hanger replaced. New engine seacock, new sink seacock (to be completed), saloon cabin sole resealed and waxed, painted down below.
