She does not have a conventional flat bottom. The fore and aft sections have a shallow V and the centre section is flat. She was originally around 50 feet in length and was extended to 70 in the early 2000's to increase living space. Out of the water pictures indicate she may originally have been built with an intended shaft log although the engine that was fitted, and is now dead, drove a leg fitted to the transom but this system is not suitable for a boat of this extended size so she is not suitable for cruising but just as a STATIC HOUSEBOAT. Because she was converted, and has been used, as a static live aboard the lack of propulsion has not represented a problem but must be borne in mind by any prospective purchaser who would also need to understand that she will need to be towed when moved from her present mooring.

Broker's Comments

This STATIC NARROWBOAT has been used as a liveaboard until recently. As the pictures show she is desperately in need of a new owner to bring her back. There are photos available of her previous interior which look very comfortable. A lot of boat for not a lot of money if you are prepared to do the work. The mooring is not transferable and she will need to be towed to a new location after sold as the engine is scrap. A project indeed but definitely worth it in the end. These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
