Just occasionally, I see a boat that pretty much ticks all the boxes and this is one. This boat is the forerunner to the very popular Rival 32 but I reckon she is far better looking. Built to race, she is strongly built but not too heavy. She has great upwind performance and is renown for her heavy weather ability. I like the nice wide side decks and don't mind that they marginally effect the interior space. This boat is designed from the outside inwards and is designed to go sailing - something some modern designs have overlooked. The curent owner has restored this boat and converted her to a cutter rig. She is a lovely boat, really well cared for and in apple pie order. She has special two-part legs which store aboard and with her long, straight keel, she will readily take a drying mooring. The running rigging layout allows for easy handling by two people.

Currently lying in Cornwall.
