This Albin Vega is in very good condition and has been looked after very well by her owner. She has had a new paint job and looks really shiny outside. Down below the interior was boatyard re-varnished in 2006 and has had new upholstery and curtains this year. The engine looks immaculate with new belts and there is an easy to reach oil sump pump, it has all been winterised, the batteries are in the bilge and are fairly new.
Vega’s have a reputation for good all round sailing qualities and would be as good for longer passages as coastal “pottering”. They are also supported by a strong owners association. This boat feels like a proper little yacht and would make an excellent first sailing boat.
The leaves on the deck are from this autum and were falling as we were taking the pictures.
